Why South Alberta Hockey Academy
Give your commitment a place to grow
Ambition brings you to the door. What you do each day shapes what happens next. SAHA brings hockey and education into the same conversation, with people who understand that a student-athlete’s future reaches beyond a single season.

Purpose
The player and the person
There is plenty to learn in a season. Those moments matter because the habits behind a growing game also help you grow as a person.
01 · Feedback
How to take feedback
Coaching only works when a player can hear it, hold on to it and use it at the next practice.
02 · Preparation
How to prepare when nobody is reminding you
The work that shows up on game day was done on the days nobody was watching.
03 · Response
How to respond when a game does not go your way
Every season has nights like that. What happens next is the part you control.
At SAHA, our purpose is to help student-athletes develop their hockey while taking ownership of their education and their role in the community.
Academics
An education that stays with you
Through our relationship with Prairie Rose Public Schools, education is part of the academy experience. Families can explore school arrangements and academic support before deciding whether SAHA is the right fit.
