Sample story: how a post looks (draft, safe to delete)

Start with the one sentence that tells the story. This first paragraph is set larger with a drop cap, so make it count: who, what, and why it matters.

Then keep going in plain paragraphs. Short ones read best. You do not need to format anything; headings, quotes and photos are styled automatically.

A section heading

Use a Heading block (H2) whenever the story turns a corner: the second period, the second day of the tournament, what comes next.

Replace this photo. Captions are optional but they look good.

Drop a quote from a coach or a player in a Quote block. It comes out in the serif italic with the name underneath.

Name, Role

What it means

Close with a paragraph or a short list. Delete anything you do not need.

  • Goals: name, name
  • Saves: name, number
  • Next: opponent, place, day
